Over the course of 6 sessions you will learn the basics of patchwork and make a gorgeous patchwork quilt! During the course you will learn many different quilt block techniques as well as how to construct and finally bind a quilt. There will be homework between the sessions and lots of handouts with diagrams to help you along!
Class Requirements: You will need to provide your own fabrics (8 fat quarters to begin with).
Skill Level: You will need to know how to sew and use a sewing machine in order to succeed at this class. If you are a beginner sewer as well as new to patchwork please ask about our entry level 9-Patch class.
If you would like to pay for this class installments please call in at the shop or email email@example.comRefreshments are provided along with home made cakes. In our classroom we will provide all the equipment required on the day, you just need to bring your own fabrics. Please let us know at time of booking if you are bringing your own machine. (You will need to bring the manual in case of trouble shooting!) If you would like to bring and use your own equipment you will need a basic sewing kit, ruler, rotary cutter, fabric and paper scissors and a pencil.
Please bring along your sewing machine if you have one. If you don’t it's not a problem as we have 6 sewing machines in our classroom but please let us know in advance if you need to use one of our machines. If you bring your own sewing machine please can we ask that you also bring along the manual. We do have some equipment in our classroom for you to use and before the class begins we will send you a pre-read which will include a list of everything you will need to bring with you.
