This course runs over 4 months. You will attend on the following Sundays: April 8th, May 13th, June 3rd and July 1st 2018. Class runs 1:30pm - 4:30pm
Over the course of 4 sessions you will learn the basics of Patchwork as well as machine sewing and gain confidence in both. You will have a fully complete quilt by the end of the course. There will be homework between the sessions and lots of handouts with diagrams to help you along! You will need to provide your own fabrics.

You will require backing fabric (1.5m), wadding (50" square approx), binding fabric (0.5m), thread for quilting (you will see this on the quilt) & basting glue or pins.Refreshments provided along with home made cakes. In our classroom we will provide all the equipment required on the day, you just need to bring your own fabrics. Please let us know at time of booking if you are bringing your own machine. (You will need to bring the manual in case of trouble shooting!) If you would like to bring and use your own equipment you will need a basic sewing kit, ruler, rotary cutter, fabric and paper scissors and a pencil.
Please bring along your sewing machine if you have one. If you don’t it's not a problem as we have 6 sewing machines in our classroom but please let us know in advance if you need to use one of our machines. If you bring your own sewing machine please can we ask that you also bring along the manual. We do have some equipment in our classroom for you to use and before the class begins we will send you a pre-read which will include a list of everything you will need to bring with you.
